Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party, accusing them of following Jinnah’s ideology and aiming to sow division in society. He made these remarks while inaugurating 89 development projects worth Rs 581 crore in Shamli. Adityanath highlighted the transformation of Shamli from a symbol of terror to a center of development under the current government.
The Chief Minister emphasized the progress made in Shamli since 2017, noting improvements in basic amenities like electricity, security, and healthcare. He praised the city’s transition from a troubled past of crime and unrest to a thriving hub of development. Adityanath also highlighted the strategic importance of Shamli in the context of proposed expressways connecting various regions.
Adityanath lauded Uttar Pradesh’s advancements in sugarcane, sugar, and ethanol production, attributing the state’s progress to the BJP government’s initiatives. He mentioned the revival of sugar mills and the improved payment system for sugarcane farmers. Additionally, the Chief Minister acknowledged the historical significance of Shamli and Kairana in India’s heritage and global recognition in classical music.
