Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, present at the Jewar inauguration of Noida International Airport, praised the project for its transformative impact on the state’s growth momentum. He emphasized the airport’s significance as a symbol of a changing “New India” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Adityanath highlighted the airport’s role in enhancing global connectivity and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key investment hub. He credited the effective implementation of schemes on the ground to the Centre’s policies over the past decade, leading to tangible outcomes.
The Chief Minister commended India’s economic resilience in the face of global uncertainties, including challenges in petroleum product pricing and supply. He contrasted the state’s current dynamic development identity with its previous lagging status on the development index, attributing the transformation to improved law and order and robust infrastructure.
Linking the airport’s inauguration to the festive spirit of Ram Navami, Adityanath expressed gratitude on behalf of the state’s population for the employment and investment opportunities the Jewar airport will generate. He underscored the airport’s integration with key infrastructure networks, creating a high-speed, multi-modal connectivity ecosystem for Uttar Pradesh’s development.
Highlighting the region’s growing investment potential, Adityanath mentioned major proposals already attracted to the Yamuna Expressway, Noida, and Greater Noida belt. He also noted the development of a semiconductor manufacturing unit near the airport and an electronics manufacturing cluster, emphasizing the airport’s role as a global connectivity hub with modern facilities aligned with the vision of “Ease of Journey.”
