Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Prayagraj to oversee preparations for the upcoming ‘Snan Parv’ at the Magh Mela. He engaged in Ganga Puja and other religious activities at Sattu Baba’s pandal in the event area.
Adityanath will review arrangements for key bathing festivals like Makar Sankranti and Mauni Amavasya. These rituals are expected to attract numerous devotees from all over the country.
After performing rituals at the Ganga, the Chief Minister will participate in the manifestation ceremony of Shri Jagadguru Ramanandacharya at Sattu Baba’s camp. He is set to meet with sants and religious leaders present at the Magh Mela site.
The Magh Mela, a 44-day event that began on January 3, will feature six major bathing occasions and conclude with the holy bath on Mahashivratri on February 15. This year’s significant bathing dates include Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Basant Panchami.
