The Yogi government is gearing up to unveil its 10th Budget in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, marking the final full Budget of its second term. With a substantial size of Rs 9.5 lakh crore, this budget surpasses previous allocations. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that this budget aims to set a new course and provide a clear policy vision for achieving ‘Aatmanirbhar’ and ‘Viksit’ Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister, under the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighted the state’s progression towards a robust, self-reliant, and prosperous Uttar Pradesh. He expressed that the budget for the upcoming financial year will introduce fresh energy, a distinct policy vision, and a concrete action plan to realize the goals of ‘Aatmanirbhar’ and ‘Viksit’ Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, the budget is expected to propel the state towards the $1 trillion economy target.

Emphasizing the core values of uplifting the poor, empowering the youth and women, and ensuring farmers’ prosperity, CM Yogi stated that this budget will lay a solid foundation for ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and the promising future of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’. The proposal will be finalized in a Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister before Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presents it in the Assembly at 11 a.m. The budget will prioritize sectors like agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure, while also focusing on job creation, industrial investments, and the empowerment of women and youth.
