A 22-year-old woman from Nagaland, identified as Linsula, was discovered dead in Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka. Her body was found hanging at her residence in Aravindnagar, Chikkamagaluru city. Police investigations revealed that she had conversed with a person named Kivishe Kinimi before the incident and had mentioned individuals named Rajesh and Tejas in her diary.
Lashila Inchugar, connected to Linsula, lodged a complaint at Basavanahalli police station against Rajesh and Tejas, accusing them of harassment. The police have launched an investigation into the matter. Linsula had documented in her diary that she was facing physical and mental harassment from Rajesh and Tejas under the guise of a relationship.
The diary, which detailed the harassment she endured while managing family responsibilities, has been seized by the police. Linsula’s family in Nagaland has been notified, and further details about the incident are awaited. In a separate incident in Bengaluru, a 19-year-old woman named Maya Gogoi from Assam was found stabbed to death in a hotel room, with her boyfriend accused of the crime.
