The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) criticized the Telugu Desam Party-led coalition government in Andhra Pradesh for its alleged vindictive attitude and diversion tactics in the Tirupati laddu issue. YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakara Reddy denounced the government’s actions, stating that challenging the CID SIT report on the laddu preparation questions the Supreme Court’s integrity. Reddy accused the government of resorting to a one-man committee as a cover-up for misinformation spread by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his allies.
The former TTD Chairman emphasized that the government’s attempt to discredit the SIT report and appoint a committee is a futile effort to save face. Reddy highlighted the alleged connections between Heritage, Indapur, and Bhole Baba dairy as the root of the adulteration scandal. He vowed to continue exposing the irregularities and links behind the Tirupati laddu controversy, despite the government’s diversion tactics.
Reddy further criticized the government’s reported plan to file an FIR in the Parakamani theft case, accusing them of attempting to implicate political opponents using corrupt means. He asserted that the YSRCP remains undeterred by such tactics and is committed to uncovering the truth behind the Tirupati laddu issue, regardless of the government’s efforts to deflect attention.
