Yuvraj Sandhu secured his seventh title of the season at the Tata Open 2025, adding to his previous triumphs, including the 2025 PGTI Order of Merit crown. The 28-year-old golfer shot a final round score of six-under 65 to win by one stroke, finishing at 20-under 264 for the week at the event held in Jamshedpur. This victory also earned Sandhu a spot on the DP World Tour for 2026.
Sandhu, based in Chandigarh, set a new record on the PGTI for the most wins in a single season by clinching seven titles. His winnings for the season totaled a remarkable INR 1,91,67,100, breaking the previous earnings record set in 2024. Additionally, he secured seven other top-10 finishes this season, showcasing his consistent performance.
Shubham Jaglan, the 21-year-old joint leader with Sandhu, finished as the runner-up with a total score of 19-under 265 for the week. Jaglan, who remained bogey-free in the final round, marked his second runner-up finish on the PGTI in only his third tour appearance. Khalin Joshi and Veer Ahlawat tied for third place at 14-under 270.
Yuvraj Sandhu’s stellar season included victories at prestigious venues like the Delhi Golf Club and the Tata Open, fulfilling his aspirations of winning across different courses. His exceptional performance was lauded by his peers, with Sandhu expressing excitement about his upcoming participation in the DP World Tour. The season-ending event also saw Manoj S. from Bengaluru being named the PGTI Emerging Player of the Year. The 17-year-old rookie, with impressive season earnings of INR 37,21,945, secured the title with consistent top-10 finishes throughout the season. Manoj’s commendable performance landed him in the 21st position on the PGTI Order of Merit.
