Yuvraj Sandhu surged to the top of the leaderboard in the Tata Open 2025 after a remarkable eight-under 64 in Round Two. His total score of 11-under 131 places him three shots ahead, climbing seven positions from his previous spot. Sandhu, a six-time winner this year, has clinched the 2025 PGTI Order of Merit title and secured a place on the DP World Tour for the upcoming year.

Shubham Jaglan, a 21-year-old, moved up to second place with a four-under 66 in the second round, totaling eight-under 134. The halfway cut was set at two-over 144, with 53 professionals advancing. The tournament saw a unique format where players switched between Beldih and Golmuri golf courses in different rounds.

Sandhu’s exceptional performance included a streak of six consecutive birdies on the back nine, showcasing his skill and determination. Reflecting on his game, Sandhu mentioned feeling more in control and comfortable, leading to improved ball-striking. He attributed his success to adapting well to windy conditions, a factor that brings out his best performance.
