Actor Zaid Khan discussed his portrayal of Ajmal Kasab in the film “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.” Initially hesitant, Khan felt intimidated by the challenging role due to Kasab being a despised figure in the country. However, guidance from his mentor encouraged him to approach the character with honesty and confidence.
Khan revealed that his mother was against him taking on the role, preferring cheerful characters for him. Despite this, he trusted the process and decided to tackle the character sincerely. The film, directed by Manoj Tapadia and co-produced by Kangana Ranaut, highlighted the bravery of medical staff during the 2008 Mumbai attacks at Cama Hospital.
In “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata,” Kangana Ranaut, Girija Oak, and Smita Tambe played significant roles. The story, inspired by real events, showcased the sacrifices made by healthcare workers to safeguard patients during the tragic incident.
