Jaipur, July 18 (IANS) In a significant verdict in the 2016 murder of Avtar Singh, an Alwar court in Rajasthan on Saturday sentenced nine convicts, including former BJP district president Inderjit Singh alias ‘Pata’, to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on each of them.The court further said that in the event of non-payment of the fine, the convicts will have to undergo additional imprisonment as prescribed by law.
