Chennai, July 23 (IANS) Tamil Nadu recorded a modest increase in its overall revenue receipts during the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, driven largely by improved tax collections, even as transfers from the Union government declined.According to the provisional figures released in the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), the State received a total revenue of Rs 64,944.97 crore between April and June 2026.
