Kathmandu, March 6 (IANS) Ranju Darshana Neupane, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate from Kathmandu-1, has been elected to the House of Representatives, becoming the first candidate to secure victory in Nepal’s parliamentary elections held on Thursday.Neupane, 30, secured 15,455 votes to win the parliamentary seat, defeating Prabal Thapa of the Nepali Congress, who garnered 6,364 votes.
