New Delhi, May 11 (IANS) There was a decline in urban unemployment during the January-March quarter of the current year, along with an increase in rural employment in both the secondary and tertiary sectors, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Statistics on Monday.Overall unemployment rate (UR) in urban areas for persons of age 15 years and above exhibited a declining trend 6.6 per cent during the quarter January-March 2026 compared to 6.7 per cent in the previous quarter.In rural…
