775 Fast Track Special Courts Dispose of 66,500 Cases in 2025, 2.45 Lakh Cases Pending: Lok Sabha

New Delhi, July 24 (IANS) As many as 775 Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs), including 398 exclusive POCSO (e-POCSO) Courts, functional in 29 States/UTs disposed 66,500 cases in 2025, with 2.45 lakh cases still pending at the end of the calendar year, the Lok Sabha was informed on Friday. Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, in reply to a question, said that in 2024 the FTSCs disposed 85,595 cases and in 2023 they disposed 76,319 cases.The backlog of cases in these court…
