A 17-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being stabbed during a violent altercation in Molarband, South Delhi’s Badarpur area. Three suspects have been apprehended by the police, with efforts ongoing to locate the remaining individuals involved in the incident.
The Delhi Police received information about the stabbing through DD No. 94A at Police Station Badarpur around 8 p.m. on Sunday. The incident, reported by local beat staff, occurred near Pandey Medical Store in Gali No. 4 on the 40-Foot Road in Molarband.
Initial investigations suggest that the victim, a resident of Molarband Extension, was summoned to the location by the brother of a girl he was romantically involved with. Upon arriving with three friends, a confrontation ensued between the two groups, resulting in the victim being attacked with a sharp weapon and sustaining multiple stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.
Following the assault, local residents rushed the injured boy to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for medical attention. Despite being admitted in critical condition, he tragically succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Upon being informed of the incident, police teams arrived at the crime scene. The Delhi Police Crime Team conducted a thorough examination and gathered evidence as part of their investigation into the matter.
A case has been filed under relevant legal provisions, and an inquiry is underway. Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the murder, while multiple police teams are conducting raids to apprehend the remaining accused.
