In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a 19-year-old youth tragically took his own life using his father’s licensed firearm. The young man, identified as Farat Ali, filmed a video on his mobile phone before the incident occurred. Authorities are investigating the case, considering family-related distress as a possible cause.

The incident took place in Chakfazalpur village within the Kundarki police station area. Initial reports suggest that the victim used his father’s gun to end his life at home. The police are examining the video recorded by the youth to understand the circumstances leading to his death.

Following the incident on the night of May 30, Uttar Pradesh Police officials arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. The licensed firearm used in the tragic event has been confiscated for further investigation.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kunwar Akash Singh confirmed the youth’s death by self-inflicted gunshot wound. He mentioned that the authorities are interviewing family members and others involved to uncover the reasons behind the incident. The investigation is ongoing, with the viral video playing a crucial role in determining the actual cause.

The family is devastated by the loss, and the community is in mourning over the tragic event. In a separate incident in Bhopal, a 16-year-old daughter of a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer reportedly died by suicide, with a handwritten note found in her room expressing emotional messages to her parents.
