Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has reached out to the Government of India for assistance in bringing his son back safely from Dubai amidst the escalating tensions in West Asia. His son, Jay Bhattacharya, is currently stranded in Dubai due to disruptions caused by the conflict in the Middle East. Abhijeet expressed deep concern for his son’s well-being, describing the situation as distressing for the family.

In a note shared on Instagram, Abhijeet appealed to the Government of India and the Ministry of External Affairs to address his son’s situation promptly and facilitate his safe return to India. Urging for immediate support and intervention, the singer requested help in ensuring his son’s safe homecoming. The plea was directed at key officials and airlines, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and various airlines.

The recent turmoil in the region stemmed from Israel’s missile strikes on Tehran, leading to heightened tensions between the United States and Iran. The conflict has escalated into direct military confrontations between Israel and Iran, with significant aerial strikes and missile attacks. This shift has raised concerns about a broader military conflict in the Middle East.

Abhijeet, a renowned singer, has a vast musical repertoire with over 6000 songs in more than 1000 films. His work includes iconic tracks featured in BBC’s “Top 40 Bollywood Soundtracks of all time.”
