In Sawai Madhopur, the ACB arrested Senior Assistant Suryaprakash Nama for taking a bribe of Rs 25,000. The complaint alleged that Nama demanded money for depositing subsidies under a government scheme. A trap was set, leading to Nama’s arrest while accepting the bribe.
Following a complaint, a verification confirmed Nama’s demand for a bribe. The arrest was made under the supervision of ACB officials. The accused is facing legal action under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
In a separate incident in Sikar, Head Constable Rajesh Kumar was caught taking a bribe of Rs 10,000.
