Actor Parag Tyagi has resumed work after an eight-month break following the passing of his wife, actress Shefali Jariwala. Sharing a sneak peek of his upcoming show on Instagram, he hinted at the show’s release with the caption “Coming soon ….. Chandanbala …#shefalijariwala #blessed #love #new.” Parag’s close friend Aarti Singh wished him luck, while actress Jaswir Kaur praised his work.
Parag Tyagi began his television career with the role of Vinod Karanjkar in the popular series Pavitra Rishta. He has since appeared in various well-known TV shows like Brahmarakshas, Jodha Akbar, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Apart from television, Parag has also ventured into Hindi and Telugu cinema, debuting in the critically acclaimed A Wednesday! and later featuring in Sarkar 3. He also made a mark in Telugu films with his role in the successful movie Agnyaathavaasi.
Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic appearance in the music video ‘Kaanta Laga’, tragically passed away in Mumbai at the age of 42. She gained fame with her role in Salman Khan’s ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and later starred in the web series ‘Baby Come Naa’. Shefali also participated in dance reality shows like ‘Boogie Woogie’ and ‘Nach Baliye’, along with featuring in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ with her friend Sidharth Shukla, who also passed away recently.
