It was so inspirational and emotional for all of us.” Alongside Bedi, Menon also commended Vidhatri Bandi and Nafisa Ali for their strength during challenging times.

Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, passed away on June 30, 2021, due to a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 50. The couple, married since 1999, have two children, son Veer, and adopted daughter Tara. Bedi received both criticism and praise for breaking social norms by performing her husband’s last rites.
