The unit of director Vetrimaran’s upcoming action film ‘Arasan’, starring actor Silambarasan, marked National Award winner Samuthirakani’s birthday with a cake cutting ceremony on set. Samuthirakani, along with director Vetrimaran, actors Simbu, Andrea Jeremiah, and comedian Yogi Babu, participated in the celebration. Simbu recently resumed shooting for the film after a brief hiatus.
Sources revealed that shooting for ‘Arasan’ had paused due to a disagreement between producer Ishari K Ganesh and Simbu over a previous project. The current schedule of ‘Arasan’ is underway in Chennai, featuring actors Vikranth and child artiste Kamalesh. The film, produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, has garnered high anticipation, especially with the addition of actor Vijay Sethupathi to the cast.
A promotional video for the film, featuring director Nelson and Simbu, hints at a gripping storyline with legal implications. Simbu’s character faces murder accusations, setting the stage for a suspenseful narrative. The film, set in the backdrop of ‘Vada Chennai’, promises an intriguing and intense cinematic experience.
