Actor Zahid Khan, set to play Angad in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic ‘Ramayana’, recently discussed his time working alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Khan praised Kapoor’s generosity on set, highlighting how Kapoor went beyond his role to enhance scenes for others. Khan expressed admiration for Kapoor’s supportive nature, drawing parallels to the camaraderie seen among friends during auditions.
In his interaction, Khan mentioned that while he didn’t have extensive personal interactions with Kapoor, observing and sharing scenes with him was a valuable learning experience. Khan admitted initial concerns about being typecast after portraying Ajmal Kasab but found solace in the opportunity to portray Angad, a departure from negative roles. He emphasized the importance of diverse opportunities for actors to showcase their versatility.
Reflecting on his preparation for the role of Angad, Khan noted a relatively seamless transition from his previous character. Having wrapped up filming for ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’, where he played Ajmal Kasab, Khan found the physical training and character study for Angad to be a refreshing challenge. He highlighted the need for distinct preparation for each role, emphasizing the actor’s journey from one character to the next.
