Actors Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia have chosen to waive their fees for their roles in the upcoming movie ‘O’Romeo’. Vikrant, who committed to the film years ago, fulfilled his promise to director Vishal Bhardwaj by working without payment. The film, with a budget of INR 75–80 crore, needs to surpass INR 100 crore at the box office to be deemed successful.
Vishal Bhardwaj praised Vikrant Massey’s dedication to the project, highlighting how the actor’s admiration for ‘Maqbool’ motivated his entry into the industry. Despite his rising stardom post ’12th Fail’, Vikrant opted to honor his commitment to the film. Tamannaah Bhatia also joined the cast without charging any fees, contributing significantly to a pivotal plot twist in the movie.
Tamannaah’s role, though brief, holds substantial importance in the narrative of ‘O’Romeo’. Her enthusiastic participation, including extended shooting days and intensive preparation, greatly impacted the film. The star-studded cast of the movie includes Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, and Disha Patani.
Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘O’Romeo’ is a highly anticipated project set to hit screens on February 13, 2026.
