Actress Avika Gor shared insights into the Telugu project “Ugly Story,” emphasizing its avoidance of glamorizing toxic relationships. The Telugu romantic thriller delves into the complexities of love and emotional harm. Avika Gor, known for her role in ‘Balika Vadhu,’ highlighted that the narrative is not one to romanticize. She mentioned the team’s conscious effort to draw a clear line between toxicity and passion, focusing on the detrimental effects of such relationships.
“Ugly Story” aims to showcase the reality of toxic relationships rather than portraying them as desirable. Avika Gor expressed the importance of honesty in storytelling, ensuring that the audience is not misled. The film, produced by CH Subhasini and Konda Laxman for Riya Ziya Productions, is scheduled for release on May 22nd this year. Written and directed by Pranav Swaroop, the project features Ravi Teja Mahadasyam, Shivaji Raja, and Pragya Nayan in significant roles, among others.
Shifting the spotlight to the technical team, Shrie Sai Kumar Dara handled the cinematography, while Shravan Bharadwaj served as the music director. The editing responsibilities were shared by Srikanth Patnaik and Mithun Soma, with Vithal Kosanam as the art director for “Ugly Story.”
