Actress Meenakshi Seshadri recently took a trip down memory lane, recalling her time shooting with South superstar Chiranjeevi for a Telugu movie. She posted a video on social media, showcasing her dance moves from the film’s iconic song, where Chiranjeevi also featured alongside her. The actress looked elegant in a traditional South Indian saree during the shoot.
Meenakshi expressed her joy about working with Chiranjeevi and renowned director K Vishwanath, describing it as an amazing experience. The movie was filmed in Hyderabad and the picturesque village of Poodapalli in Andhra Pradesh. The particular song was shot in Kulu Manali, surrounded by stunning natural beauty, with Meenakshi crediting her team in Dallas for creating her look.
Having been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for over three decades, Meenakshi Seshadri rose to fame in the late 80s Bollywood era. She made her debut opposite Jackie Shroff in the movie “Hero,” directed by Subhash Ghai. Meenakshi is fondly remembered for her role as Damini in the film of the same name, which also starred Rishi Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Rohini Hattangadi.
Throughout her career, Meenakshi appeared in several successful films such as “Painter Babu,” “Meri Jung,” “Swati,” “Shahenshah,” “Awaargi,” and “Ghatak.” Following her marriage, she took a break from Bollywood and relocated to the USA to focus on her family life.
