The Korean government and the Korea Tourism Organization have appointed actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, known for her role in the Tamil film ‘Made in Korea’, as the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism. Priyanka expressed her gratitude on Instagram, calling it a special honor to represent Korean culture to Indian audiences. She highlighted her admiration for Korea’s culture, traditions, and warmth.

In a previous event, Priyanka attended a dinner with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung. She shared her appreciation for the opportunity to interact with such esteemed leaders and expressed gratitude for their support of her film ‘Made in Korea’. Priyanka described the experience as a significant moment reflecting her dedication to storytelling that transcends cultures.

‘Made in Korea’, Priyanka’s debut project on Netflix, was shot partly in Korea and marked her collaboration with international stars. The film, a milestone for Tamil cinema, showcases Priyanka Arul Mohan in a leading role and underscores the growing ties between Indian and Korean entertainment industries.
