Actress Rakul Preet Singh found herself in the midst of a controversy after a video surfaced showing her walking inside the Gir National Park, raising concerns about adherence to forest regulations. The video, shared on social media, captured Rakul casually moving around the forest area during the promotion of her upcoming movie “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” which also stars Ayushmaan Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
The Gir Forest authorities responded to the incident through their official Twitter handle, clarifying that the video was filmed outside the park’s restricted area, not within it. They emphasized that the footage did not breach any regulations governing the park.
The incident prompted discussions online, with some questioning the special treatment afforded to celebrities and the enforcement of park rules. Amidst the controversy, Rakul, Ayushmann, and Wamiqa were seen enjoying a traditional Gujarati meal during the movie’s promotion in Gujarat. The film, “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” jointly produced by T-Series and B R Studios, is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 15 this year.
