Actress Sadia Khateeb, known for her roles in ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘The Diplomat’, has completed filming in Vietnam for her upcoming movie ‘Silaa’. Directed by Omung Kumar, the film also features Harshvardhan Rane and Karan Veer Mehra. This international shoot was a significant phase for the movie and a creatively fulfilling experience for Sadia.
Sadia expressed her satisfaction, stating, “Wrapping up Vietnam brings me deep creative fulfillment. Filming in such stunning locations was a privilege, and I am thankful to director Omung Kumar and the entire team for believing in his vision and overcoming challenges.” She also thanked the people of Vietnam for their support.
The actress added, “‘Silaa’ has been crafted with immense warmth, resilience, and heart, and I am excited for the world to witness it.” During a previous shoot in Vietnam, Sadia became the first Bollywood actress to film inside Son Doong Cave, facing extreme conditions without basic facilities, making it one of her most demanding shoots.
The completion of the Vietnam schedule has heightened anticipation for ‘Silaa’, with audiences eager to see Sadia Khateeb’s powerful performance. Additionally, Sadia will star alongside Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor in an upcoming film, solidifying her presence in the industry. Sadia made her Hindi film debut in 2020 with ‘Shikara’, earning a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Female Debut.
