Actress Sharvari expressed admiration for Rani Mukerji’s diverse roles, particularly praising her portrayal of Shivani Shivaji Roy in “Mardaani 3” for empowering and inspiring many. Sharvari shared her appreciation on Instagram after watching the film, commending its powerful impact and congratulating the director, Abhiraj Minawala.
“Mardaani 3” sheds light on a dark societal reality, continuing the franchise’s tradition of impactful storytelling. The movie also introduces actress Janaki Bodiwala in a significant role, with the screenplay penned by Aayush Gupta. The franchise’s first installment was released in 2014, followed by a sequel in 2019 directed by Gopi Puthran.
Sharvari, currently filming for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming project alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah, is set to hit the screens on June 12. The film, produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, promises a contemporary narrative exploring human connections, featuring music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
