Actress Somy Ali recently shared a nostalgic memory from 1991, recalling a special moment when she shared lassi with late superstar Dharmendra at his home. She described Dharmendra as the only person who had always been like a real father to her, offering unconditional love and unwavering support throughout her life.

In a tribute on social media, Somy Ali expressed gratitude for Dharmendra’s constant presence and love, emphasizing their deep bond that began over lassi in 1991. She fondly remembered their conversations on various topics, including geopolitical issues and reading dialogues in Urdu, highlighting Dharmendra’s caring nature.

Referring to Dharmendra as “Dharamji,” the veteran actor, known for his illustrious six-decade career, starred in numerous timeless classics that earned him immense popularity. From his debut in the 1960 film “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere” to iconic movies like “Sholay,” “Phool Aur Patthar,” and “Chupke Chupke,” Dharmendra left a lasting impact on Bollywood.

Throughout his career, Dharmendra continued to charm audiences with his performances in films like “Yamla Pagla Deewana” and “Apne.” His final movie appearance was in “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” alongside stars like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
