Actress Wamiqa Gabbi recently met Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit on set and shared her excitement on Instagram. She even performed Madhuri’s iconic ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ step. Wamiqa expressed her deep admiration for Madhuri, calling the meeting a magical moment from her childhood.
Wamiqa shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, introducing Madhuri to her parents and reminiscing about her influence on her childhood. This is the first time Wamiqa has publicly spoken about her admiration for Madhuri Dixit, a favorite among millennials. In March, Wamiqa celebrated the first anniversary of her film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ with a special e-rickshaw ride dressed as a bride.
Directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ also starred Rajkummar Rao. The film narrates the story of Ranjan, played by Rajkummar, who forgets a vow to Lord Shiva, leading to a time loop. Wamiqa played the character Titli, Ranjan’s love interest in the film. Wamiqa will next appear in ‘G2’ opposite Adivi Sesh.
