Wallin, in his debut full season on the HotelPlanner Tour, showcased a strong performance with a mix of birdies and an eagle. Khan, who had a solid showing last week, matched Wallin’s score with a round featuring six birdies, an eagle, and two bogeys. Khan expressed satisfaction with his game and highlighted the importance of putting and tee shots on the challenging course.
Irishman Conor Purcell, South African Yurav Premlall, Spaniard Albert Boneta, and Austrian Lukas Nemecz are tied for fourth place at five under par. Friedrichsen, one of the leaders, will resume his round early, while Wallin and Khan are set for their subsequent rounds later in the day.
