Adani International School in Shantigram, Ahmedabad, recently organized the IRIS National Fair 2025–26 from February 6-8, highlighting India’s budding STEM talent. The event, attended by 75 student innovators from 12 states and 24 cities, aimed to promote school-level STEM research and innovation. Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja, Minister of State for Education, emphasized the importance of integrating research and innovation into the education system during the closing ceremony.
Namrata Adani, from the Adani Group, stressed the significance of nurturing curiosity and practical learning beyond textbooks at Adani International School. The fair provided a platform for students to explore, question, and apply knowledge to real-world issues, fostering scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills. The event featured student research exhibitions, mentoring sessions, and interactive activities to enhance engagement with STEM subjects.
The IRIS National Fair also included a conference for school principals and educators to discuss enhancing STEM teaching methods and practical classroom approaches. Students had the opportunity to present their original research projects, receiving feedback and guidance from experts. The event concluded successfully, underscoring schools’ pivotal role in fostering early-stage research, collaboration, and innovation among students.
