All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ) President Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi lauded the Union Budget 2026-2027, hailing it as “impressive, inclusive, and focused on the welfare of all sections of society.” He expressed satisfaction with the budget’s balanced approach towards development, social responsibility, and economic relief. Bareilvi emphasized the significant allocations for health, education, roads, and infrastructure, along with measures to curb the use of harmful products like alcohol and tobacco while providing relief for essential household items.
Highlighting the allocation of nearly Rs 3,350 crore for minority welfare in the budget, Bareilvi noted an increase of Rs 166 crore compared to the previous financial year 2024–25. He believed that this boost in allocation would enhance welfare schemes and development programs benefiting minority communities nationwide. Bareilvi commended the Narendra Modi government for its efforts to ensure inclusive growth and address social, economic, and health-related concerns in the population.
Expressing optimism about the budget’s effective implementation, Bareilvi hoped for tangible benefits on the ground that would contribute to the overall progress of the nation. He also extended his congratulations to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting what he termed an “excellent and people-centric Budget.”
