During his visit to the UK, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan engaged with Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, his UK counterpart. The discussions emphasized addressing current challenges such as global trade imbalances and emerging cyber threats. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to a peaceful Indo-Pacific region.
General Chauhan’s interactions in the UK extended to discussions with Defense Industry leaders, emphasizing the benefits of enhanced economic integration for defense collaboration. Meetings with UK officials, including Minister of State for Defence Readiness and Industry Luke Pollard and Minister of State for Indo-Pacific Seema Malhotra, focused on evolving conflict dynamics and deepening military cooperation.
