Actress Akshara Haasan, gearing up for the release of ‘Simulacra,’ mentioned that her character in the film required a higher level of maturity from her. The teaser of the movie introduces her as Nivi in a futuristic world where memories can be altered using neural brain chips.
Haasan expressed, “Nivi is a unique character that demanded a different maturity level from me both personally and as an actor. The intricate storyline allowed me to explore various emotions and complexities, challenging me in a fulfilling way.” The film delves into a near-future society controlled by neural brain chips, where individuals can manipulate their memories.
Set in a world where technology blurs reality, ‘Simulacra’ follows Nayan and Nivi, portrayed by Satyajeet Dubey and Akshara Haasan, respectively. Nayan, claiming a shared past with Nivi through neural memories, faces her blank recollection. As they navigate this uncertain terrain, their bond deepens, blurring the lines between real and perceived emotions.
