Akshay Kumar’s horror comedy film “Bhooth Bangla” has rescheduled its release date. Initially set for May 15, 2026, the movie will now hit theaters earlier on April 10, 2026. This change aims to accommodate Akshay’s busy schedule and enhance audience interaction.
The movie marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. The duo has previously delivered successful films like “Hera Pheri” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.” Fans anticipate the duo’s collaboration to bring back the same cinematic charm.
Starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, and others, “Bhooth Bangla” reunites Akshay and Tabu after 25 years. The film’s narrative reportedly revolves around a mysterious haunted house and the ensuing commotion.
“Bhooth Bangla” is a joint venture of Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor. The screenplay credits go to Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan, with Rohan Shankar handling the dialogues.
Apart from this project, Akshay and Priyadarshan are collaborating on two more films, “Haiwaan” with Saif Ali Khan and “Hera Pheri 3” alongside Suniel Shetty.
