Megastar Amitabh Bachchan praised India’s remarkable achievement in Blind Cricket, Women’s Cricket, and Men’s Cricket in 2025, emphasizing the significance of all three teams becoming world champions in the same year. Bachchan, in a blog post, challenged the outdated perception of India as a “third world” nation, asserting that these victories position the country as a “first world nation.” He hinted at sharing a related story in the future.

Amitabh Bachchan recently discussed the lull that accompanies the conclusion of the season of his quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” describing the downtime as unsettling and filled with inertia. The iconic actor expressed the struggle of dealing with a lack of work, equating it to a slow and draining journey through a vast, wet wasteland. Despite the challenges, he remains determined to overcome this phase.

“Kaun Banega Crorepati” is the official Hindi version of the popular show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” hosted by Amitabh Bachchan since its inception in 2000, except for one season when Shah Rukh Khan temporarily took over. The show features contestants answering multiple-choice questions and utilizing lifelines when unsure, airing on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
