The Crack Team of Anand Vihar Police Station in Delhi’s Shahdara district apprehended two suspects involved in snatching and auto theft. The team recovered two stolen two-wheelers from the accused. Following a surge in such crimes in the area, the Crack Team was tasked with identifying and capturing active offenders.
A specialized police unit, led by Head Constables Lokesh, Sonu, and Pradeep, along with Constable Gourav, conducted the operation under the supervision of Inspector Manish Kumar and ACP Vivek Vihar Mohinder Singh. The team’s vigilance near Manglam Road led to the arrest of two individuals riding a motorcycle without a registration plate, suspected to be involved in criminal activities.
The arrested individuals were found in possession of a stolen CT-100 motorcycle and confessed to stealing it from Farsh Bazar. They also admitted to stealing a Honda Activa scooter from the same area. The recovered vehicles were linked to specific FIRs, and the accused disclosed their involvement in snatching incidents across Shahdara district. The suspects, Ritik, 21, and Atul, 18, residents of Vishwas Nagar, confessed to the crimes for financial gain.
