Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu honored former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao on his death anniversary, acknowledging his significant contributions to welfare and development schemes. Naidu, who is also the national president of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and NTR’s son-in-law, praised the late leader for his pro-poor initiatives.
Remembering NTR’s legacy, Naidu highlighted his impactful schemes like affordable rice, social security pensions, housing projects, free electricity for farmers, and initiatives for women’s property rights. He emphasized NTR’s role in transforming history through these welfare programs and his commitment to the upliftment of Telugu people.
Various political figures, including Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Ram Mohan Naidu, also paid their respects to NTR on his 30th death anniversary, recognizing his enduring influence as both a cinematic icon and a political leader.
