Veteran actor Anil Kapoor recently reminisced about his nervousness while working with Hema Malini in the 1985 action thriller “Yudh.” Celebrating 41 years since the movie’s release, Kapoor admitted that dancing with Malini was one of the most challenging aspects of the film for him. In a social media post, he shared a still from their dance sequence and expressed how daunting it was to match steps with the iconic star.
“Yudh,” which marked the directorial debut of Rajiv Rai, son of producer Gulshan Rai, also starred Jackie Shroff, Tina Munim, Pran, Danny Denzongpa, and Nutan in significant roles. Hema Malini and Shatrughan Sinha made special appearances in the film.
Looking ahead, Anil Kapoor is set to play a pivotal role in the Netflix series “Family Business” alongside Vijay Varma, Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, and Dhruv Sehgal. He is also lined up for “Alpha,” a female-led action entertainer with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, which is part of the YRF Spy Universe. The movie is expected to feature Bobby Deol, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Debanjan Chatterjee, and others in key roles.
Additionally, Kapoor has been cast in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “King,” which will see SRK sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. Directed by Siddharth Anand, “King” will also star Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma in supporting roles.
