After 35 years together, Bollywood couple Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi discussed their spontaneous decision to elope and marry in a new YouTube series called Pyaar Dosti Hai. Despite facing initial resistance from Parmeet’s family due to Archana being older and an actress, the couple decided to marry out of love.
Parmeet recounted the tension at home, stating that his family disapproved of the relationship initially. He emphasized his desire to marry the person he loved, leading to a sudden decision to tie the knot. The couple shared a romantic moment where they impulsively decided to get married and sought out a temple for an immediate ceremony.
Archana and Parmeet reminisced about their unconventional wedding, which took place on Archana’s terrace the next morning. Reflecting on their swift decision, Archana mentioned that the disapproval from Parmeet’s parents hastened their marriage. The couple, who dated for 8 years, have two sons and have been happily married since 1992.
