Argentina’s Ambassador to India, Mariano Caucino, paid tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, expressing Argentina’s support for India’s right to self-defense. The deadly attack, orchestrated by Pakistan-backed terrorists from The Resistance Front (TRF), resulted in the tragic deaths of 26 innocent tourists, including one local pony ride operator who tried to protect them. Caucino condemned terrorism unequivocally, emphasizing Argentina’s solidarity with India in combating such acts.
Reflecting on the global scenario, Caucino expressed hope for peace talks between the US and Iran to bring about resolution in ongoing conflicts. He highlighted the significance of stability in the Middle East and its impact on the world economy.
