Army Fully Prepared for Ground Operations, Says General Dwivedi

General Upendra Dwivedi confirmed that the Army is ready for ground operations under Operation Sindoor if Pakistan makes any “mistake.” He emphasized the ongoing nature of Operation Sindoor and the Army’s vigilance in response to potential misadventures.

India’s security progress in 2025 was highlighted by Gen Dwivedi, who praised Operation Sindoor for showcasing India’s preparedness, precision, and strategic clarity. The Army’s mobilization during Operation Sindoor was noted, with a readiness for ground offensives reiterated in case of any misstep by Pakistan.

Gen Dwivedi discussed the stable situation along the North-western Front, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance. He also mentioned the gradual normalization facilitated by apex-level interactions and confidence-building measures along the Northern Borders.

Regarding the Western Front, Gen Dwivedi recalled India’s decisive response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Operation Sindoor’s precision and strategic impact were highlighted, showcasing the Army’s ability to dismantle terror infrastructure effectively.
