Katley, who joined Arsenal from Melbourne City in July 2020, has appeared in 165 matches for the Gunners, scoring four goals and playing a vital role in the team’s defensive line.
During her time at Arsenal, the 32-year-old defender has secured two League Cup titles, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and the FIFA Champions Cup. She notably played a significant role in Arsenal’s European success last season, contributing to the team’s victory over Barcelona in the final.

Expressing her delight after signing the contract, Katley mentioned her strong bond with the club, stating that Arsenal feels like home to her. Despite initial challenges and injuries upon joining the club, she emphasized the support and faith she has received from the coach and the club, making her decision to stay an easy one.
Hailing from Melbourne, Steph Katley has been a prominent figure in Australian football for 14 years, making her senior debut for the Matildas at the age of 18 in June 2012. With 146 appearances and seven goals for her country, she continues to be a significant asset to the Australian national team.
