Arsenal secured a spot in the FA Cup last 16 with a commanding 4-0 victory over Wigan Athletic. The match saw goals from Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and an own goal within the first half-hour, allowing Arsenal to relax in the second half. Leeds United also progressed after a penalty shootout victory against Birmingham City, while Santiago Bueno’s goal led Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-0 win over Grimsby Town.

Sunderland advanced with a win over Oxford United, and Fulham came from behind to defeat Stoke City 2-1. Manchester City triumphed over Salford City 2-0, and Newcastle United overcame Aston Villa 3-1 despite refereeing controversies. Liverpool secured a 3-0 victory over Brighton, with goals from Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah.

Mansfield Town caused an upset by beating Burnley 2-1, while West Ham United needed extra time to defeat Burton Albion. Norwich City emerged victorious over West Bromwich Albion, and Southampton beat Leicester City 2-1 after extra time. Chelsea, with Pedro Neto’s hat-trick, won 4-0 against Hull City, and Wrexham defeated Ipswich Town 1-0 in an all-Championship clash.
