The newly opened Arunachal Niwas in Dheerpur, New Delhi, signifies a significant step towards improving infrastructure for the welfare of Arunachal Pradesh residents.
This new facility marks the fourth property of Arunachal Pradesh in the national capital, showcasing the government’s sustained efforts to establish support infrastructure outside the state. The development of similar facilities in cities like Guwahati, Tezpur, and Mumbai aims to provide accommodation and services to Arunachal Pradesh residents.
Chief Minister Khandu praised all stakeholders involved in the project for their contributions. He emphasized the importance of such establishments in offering convenience and support, especially for patients and students from Arunachal Pradesh visiting Delhi. The Arunachal Niwas includes dedicated provisions for patients, making it particularly beneficial for those in need of medical assistance in the capital.
Reiterating the government’s dedication to infrastructure development, Khandu announced a comprehensive review of newly formed districts to identify infrastructure gaps and manpower needs. The Chief Minister highlighted the strategic location of Arunachal Niwas near the North Campus area, emphasizing its value for students during university admission periods.
