Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) highlighted the importance of national commitment during an interaction with youths and students from border areas of the state at Lok Bhavan, Itanagar. He stressed that the youth are not just the future but also the present strength of the nation, urging them to actively contribute to society and work towards state development. Lt Gen Parnaik (Retd.) emphasized the need to balance development and modernization with the preservation of the state’s customs, traditions, and natural environment.
Continuing his engagement with young minds, the Governor advised students to focus on education, discipline, and strong motivation for the future. He encouraged them to stay curious, passionate, and socially responsible, engaging with civic issues like cleanliness. Lt Gen Parnaik (Retd.) urged the youth to embrace the spirit of ‘Nation First’ in all their pursuits, emphasizing their crucial role in nation-building, especially in border areas.
Youth and students from Tawang, Jang, Lhou, and Mukto, currently on an educational tour organized by the Rhebla Gangsum Students’ organization, participated in the program. They had the opportunity to interact with the Governor, gaining valuable insights into leadership, responsibility, and the youth’s role in contributing to the nation’s progress and well-being.
