Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker is set to direct a documentary series called “Temple Raiders,” focusing on the theft and trafficking of India’s sacred temple artifacts on a global scale. The project, backed by Tudip Entertainment and Riverland Entertainment in collaboration with Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, will be produced by Dipti Agrawal, Tushar Apshankar, Jaishree Khanna, and Raghav Khanna. “Temple Raiders,” written and created by Khanna, aims to combine factual storytelling with cinematic grandeur.
Gowariker, known for his cinematic ventures, expressed his interest in exploring the documentary format with this series. He emphasized the significance of the subject matter, stating that the concept of temple thefts resonated with him deeply.
