Assam Chief Minister Hails India-US Trade Deal as Historic

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the India-US trade deal, calling it a historic agreement that will provide significant opportunities for Indian entrepreneurs, farmers, skilled professionals, and MSMEs. Sarma emphasized that the deal, a result of discussions between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, signifies a new chapter in the economic relationship between the two countries.

Sarma expressed gratitude towards Modi and Trump for their leadership in strengthening bilateral ties and highlighted the potential benefits for various sectors in India. The agreement aims to enhance market access, boost trade flows, and promote technology collaboration between India and the US, particularly benefiting MSMEs, startups, farmers, and skilled workers.
